It can reduce size of labia minora and firm the loose labia majora. It can be performed in the clinic under local anaesthesia, with minimal downtime, less pain and no scarring post procedure compared with surgery.
Your initial consultation
At your first consultation, Dr Sharon Li will discuss your concerns and make every effort to ensure your concerns are fully understood. An examination will be performed during this consultation and the patient must be aged 18 years and over to proceed with the procedure.
We recommend obtaining a GP referral, as this allows Dr Li to access information regarding your general health, past medical history, psychiatric history and suitability for the surgery.
You may be a suitable candidate for the procedure if:
- You are not satisfied with the aesthetic appearance of your intimate area
- You have good physical and mental health
- You experience discomfort from your intimate area, such as rubbing
- You consider you have extra skin and folds in your intimate area
- You have realistic expectations
- You are willing to follow your surgeon’s instructions
- You have a complete understanding of the risks and complications

Aviva vs. Labiaplasty
Compared to labiaplasty, Aviva is suitable for patients with mild symptoms. Aviva can tighten the labia majora and increase sensitivity for sexual function during intercourse. If patients have a more severe case of enlarged or elongated labia, they may still require the more traditional surgical labiaplasty to achieve their goals.
